Our Marlik product is extremely strong and durable, however, like any other product, it can be damaged if mistreated, please take a moment to review this care and cleaning sheet to help ensure years of quality service from your sink. This will help prevent any severe damage which may result in the need for special repairs.

Every cleaning:

Normal Cleaning: Should be done with a damp towel or regular sponge.

For basic Stains: Use a good quality general purpose cleaner or a mild detergent.

Persistent Stains:

For most persistent stains: I.E. Food stains and scratches, use a good quality abrasive cleanser with a wet green Scotch Brite pad.

Steps to avoid damage:

Avoid doing any cutting directly in your sink by using a cutting board.

We do not recommend the placement of hot pans directly into your sink. Extensive contact with these high temperatures could cause your sink discolor in affected areas.

Avoid strong acids, such as drain cleaners, nail polishes and nail polish removers. Should any of these products come into contact with the surface flush immediately with soap and water to prevent whitening which can be difficult if not impossible to remove.

Notes:

Periodically take some time to wipe down the entire surface of your sink or bowl with a good quality cleanser and wet green Scotch Brite pad. This will help keep the product uniform in appearance.

We know that sometimes accidents will happen, so here is an easy way to remove deep scratches from your sink and bowls to restore its appearance.

A. For normal stains use a Scotch Brite™ pad and abrasive cleanser.
B. For tough stains and minor scratches use a 600 grit wet or dry sheet or sand paper, sand as needed.
C. For major or deep scratches use first a 360 grit wet or dry sheet or sand paper then consecutively use a 500 then the 600 grit wet or dry sheet or sand paper, sand as needed.
